Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth
is a social service agency
located at Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport.  We are a
member of Travelers Aid
International, and are a partner
agency with United Way of
Metropolitan Tarrant County.  
We provide a variety of services
to families and individuals who
are in crisis, transition, or who
are separated from their
normal support systems.  We
also provide airport and area
information through agency
volunteers, and operate the lost
and found for DFW
International Airport.

BILL HIGGINS
RECIPIENT OF THE 2008 LONE STAR LEGEND AWARD

Bill has been a volunteer for Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth since 1995, having
helped over 36,800 clients, and having volunteered over 4500 hours!  Mr. Higgins
provides information and assistance to DFW Airport passengers and employees
from an information booth in the terminal.  He also helps with the agency's special
events.  Please join us in congratulating BILL HIGGINS for receiving this award!!
HEB TRANSIT

If you work at DFW International Airport, live in Hurst, Euless or Bedford,
and are facing transportation challenges getting to and from your job,
we may be able to help!

Transportation assistance is available through the HEB Transit program.  
The service is available between locations in Hurst Euless or Bedford, and the Airport's
South Employee Shuttle Lot.   
The service is available M-F from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth will hold its
Fall 2008 Lost and Found Sale
Friday, October 3, 2008.  
8:30 a.m. - 3:00  p.m.
The sale will be held at Terminal E, DFW International Airport,
Lower Level Curb, Non-Secure Side, Near E2
(Former Delta Dash Office)
ATTENTION HURRICANE GUSTAV EVACUEES IN THE
DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA:

TRAVELERS AID DALLAS/FORT WORTH IS PROVIDING LIMITED TRAVEL
ASSISTANCE FOR EVACUEES WHO ARE IN THE DFW METROPOLITAN AREA
AND ARE ATTEMPTING TO RETURN HOME.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TRAVEL
ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY TRAVELERS AID DALLAS/FORT WORTH IS VIA
GREYHOUND BUS.  AS A RESULT, GREYHOUND ROUTE CANCELLATIONS AND
OFFICE CLOSURES DUE TO THE HURRICANE MAY LIMIT ASSISTANCE.  

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT TRAVELERS AID DALLAS/FORT WORTH DOES NOT
HAVE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PROVIDING GAS MONEY OR VOUCHERS.  
PLEASE CONTACT 2-1-1 FOR A REFERRAL TO AN AGENCY THAT PROVIDES
GAS MONEY OR VOUCHERS.

ATTENTION DONORS:

Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth is accepting financial donations to be used
to provide hurricane related assistance.  In addition to funds, we are also
in need of baby and toddler food items including small ready to use bottles
of baby formula (Similac or Isomil - six small bottles to a pack).  

If you would like to support our relief efforts with a financial donation or
with items that can be provided to evacuees, please contact Bruce
