NEED A RIDE?   WE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP.

Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth is proud to announce a new program offering.  Travelers Aid
Dallas/Fort Worth is now a participating agency with HEB Transit – a new local transportation
project.
 

HEB Transit serves transportation disadvantaged people in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford by
providing access to destinations within those cities and the Hurst/Bell and CentrePort/DFW
Airport Trinity Railway Express (TRE) Stations, and effective Tuesday, September 4, 2007,
DFW Airport employee shuttle lots.

If you are an employee at DFW International Airport and need transportation to and from
work,  and don’t qualify for existing programs such as NETS or WHEELS, you may meet the
criteria for a newly established transportation service operating in Hurst, Euless and
Bedford. Eligible trips include:

Trips that begin and end within HEB
Trips to and/or from work at DFW Airport
Trips to the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) stations at Hurst/Bell and CentrePort/DFW
Airport
Trips to the Health and Human Services office located at John T. White Blvd.

KEY POINTS

Service at DFW Airport began Tuesday, September 4, 2007.
No charge to participants
Participants must meet eligibility requirements and be employed at DFW Airport to
utilize the service to and from the airport.  
Applications and passes are available at Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth.
The shuttle will drop off and pick up participants at the North and South Employee
shuttle lots.  
Service reservations must be made in advance as the service is not a regularly
scheduled transit system.
Service operates Monday – Friday:  6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  
Service not available on weekends or the following holidays:
New Year’s Day,
Memorial Day,
Independence Day,
Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day,
Day after Thanksgiving,
Christmas Eve, and
Christmas Day.


ELIGIBILITY

Participants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Must live in or be able to be picked up and dropped off within Hurst, Euless or
Bedford.
Must be an employee at DFW Airport and be prepared to provide evidence of that
employment.
Must meet income criteria and be prepared to provide evidence of income.
Must agree to abide by program rules and policies.
Must complete an application at Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth located in the B-30
baggage claim area of Terminal B.
